He's probably using another computer or a laptop. What does your computer do when it startsup? Does it just crash right away, or crash when it gets to the 'XP Loading Screen"?

Hole down F8 when it is starting up. it should boot up in safe mode. (if your using PC). You probably have a powerful trojan. or something You probably have to get it checked, or (1) boot it up in safe mode or use an updated virus scan disc to search for anything bad. If that doesn't work, you may have to (2) get it checked out somewhere or (3) replace the hard-drive, which really sucks, I would know. I have used option 1 and 3 befoer, and it sucks a lot.

You have to format the harddrive first, then install.

Why install XP? Install Linux, it owns it's so easy to use.
