It wont let me save until i put a start location how do i disregard players 6,7,8?

Just set players 6, 7 and 8 as inactive in the PLayer Settings menu.
No its not there i cant find it...
Don't have any units for those players, and have no start location. As long as the computer is in a different slot as the people (you have atleast 2 forces), you can save without having those 3 players. If it still doesn't work, you can upload the map and we'll use SF or scmdraft to set those players to inactive. X-tra and scep and CE don't have inactive as an option you can choose, but it won't crash it or do anything weird if you set it to that with another editor.
Well, It might do something unusual to your map if you use starforge 2.0+... I know for a fact it wont do anything bad to your map if it is used in SCM draft 2.
Do not set players to inactive. This is stupid and it wastes map space and it's also stupid. Do what Zerg suggested, if you didn't want those players, you wouldn't have placed units for them in the first place. Please reach an age of 4 before posting again.
It wastes map space? I didn't know that.
Why does SF then always want to set players to inactive? Is it some glitch with SF that it won't work with some active but no start locations, or it lets you join a slot in a gmae, but it will crash because you have no start location or.... I'm confused. I'll try again. Is there any difference at all between inactive and having the player do nothing?

Jeron, please change your mapping level to beginner. What we consider an average mapmaker wouldn't have trouble saving the map. Its for your own benifit.
