How do you create 'X-Tra' units, I tried normally, like you know X Condition -> Create 1 X at X for X Player.

Is there another method? confused.gif

"extra" units (heros not included in normal editor) cannot be created by triggers. Sorry,

The following post is assuming that DT_Battlekruser's point does not help you.

No, the only options to create units is to create them. There is no other way to create units, except by creating them. Creating units is the only way to create them. 1 is the only number that equals 1. Here are some examples:

1 = 1
1 != 2
1 != -4
1 != pi
1 != 12901209

Please reach at least an age of 4 before making such a post again. Also, if you have Autism, do not attempt to make maps.

ok then sala... that was the most confusing post I have read so far...

Anyways, you can create units useing randomized switches. By default, a switch is set to "clear" unless told to be "set" by another trigger.

Yeah recall you don't "create" you make the AI recall there. With the Run AI script at location.

SA_Max I plan to murder you.

(Undefined), please read every line of someone's post as well as all the posts trying to help you before making such statements. DT_Battlekruser's post had the only possible error that could have happened. If you had read the first sentence of my post, it states that you should try his help first. Assuming that does not work, my flame is acceptable, as you have no right to live if you are over the age of four, because you are dumber than any living creature that possesses a brain.

Show us the map, extract the triggers, you will clearly see.

There is only two ways or creating units, and one way of pre-placing them.

Trigger creation, and making units from buildings in games are the ONLY ways of doing so.

If you do not accept the fact given to you by three advanced map makers, you should get to know the original Staredit better than knowing what an "X-tra" unit even is.

Undefined states he is average? I must be God then. Damn... so does SA_Max. What has the world come to?

You can use the Move unit action(not the order) the units will be instantly moved from a location to another.
If the players didn't see the units in the original location then it makes it seem like they were just created there but they really weren't

Here is the solution you are looking for.

So many posts in here yet they didn't give him a solution they gave him reasons.

To create ztra things... like X-tra powerups what you have to do it preplacethem in an isolated part fo the map... Then you can use the "move unit" trigger and move them where you please... That is the only way you can create those as I recal... Thats why in RP games there are sections on the map with large ammounts of Vespene Tanks... Ect..

What? You can create xtra things like a khaydaryin crystal using the create trigger

nvm its just a power up.

Technically moving the units arent really creating them.

no you can't, try it once.

but khaydaryin crystal is not an xtra unit, xtra units are units like arcturus, dugall, razagal, artanis, zerg eggs etc, those that you have in the xtra editor and don't have in the original.

You can create powerups, and you definitely can create Artanis. Stop being so racist!!1
