Who here on SEN has " WoW " and is playing it? What is your opinions on the game & gameplay during your course of " WoW " will any of you be getting " WoW " in near future?

I'm working on making a monser pc to run is perfectly. But Hashmalum (Killer2001's partner on FF7 World) has it and everynow and then when he stops in he tells me all about it. Its pretty awesome sounding and I can't friggin wait. Isn't the first month free?

Same here, im not paying for a game, when ive already bought it. Thats like buying a doughnut, but you have to pay for it again to eat it.

Dialup wont work.
It was slow for me on cable, and you need a really good internet connection, and a good computer, or you will get lag.

I played WoW once but I must say its very good. Theirs alot of stuff and things to do and almost no loading! It has good music and graphics.
On the bad sad...THEIRS A FEE!!! AND WE ALL HATE FEES!.... Thats the only bad part I found. So I gave this a 9.5 out of 10

Sala what do you connect at? And how good is your computer? I have dialup also and that would be AWESOME if I could play the game on my connection. I would stay away from PvP though =p

I play WoW on a 56k modem. Though I only connect at like 36kbps. I'm playing PvP right now and it most of the time it doesn't lag. The only lag I get is whenever you get into large raids with over 30+ people. It also depends on your graphics card too.

Thats wierd. I connect at 40kbs consistantly and I lag on Diablo 2 =/. But ya you guys are complaining that there is a montly fee but there are still people working on the game and they have to be paid. I don't think they could make it free, but isn't there a mmorpg that IS free? Anyways the price really isn't that bad, it's just getting an awesome computer to play it thats pricey.

My brother got WoW and I have watched him play for a while. It looks pretty fun, but looks less action packed than a lot of other games. Don't get me wrong tho, I am a BIG fan of RPGs, but am starting to get a lil tired of the point, click, and watch types of RPGs. I would have to say that WoW seems like a great game, but I found another really cool RPG called Guild Wars. The real one isn't out yet, but if you reserve it you get the beta version (which is REALLY cool), but you can only play it on the first weekend of every month =/
It's so fun though. There are only 6 classes, but you get to choose a main class, and a secondary one. You get to buy skills with money and points gained from experience. But you can only have 8 skills on at once, so you must choose carefuly. It is great how you can put a couple skills in together and how they work so well with each other. The game play kind of reminds me of WoW. The skills work similarly, and you have a health/energy bar like WoW. They also regenerate very alike.
All in all, I would say that WoW looks like a good game, and Guild Wars is a FUN a$$ game

i havent seen WoW and i prolly wont.....it looks like a good game but i wont pay to play a game when ive already paid like 50 bucks on it.....kinda seems ed up....the only game i would ever pay monthly for would be SW Galaxies or Ashrons Call 2..but since i have neither of them i dont pay anything...but anyway WoW seems pretty cool...

I decided to get WoW anyway despite my dialup and it's lagless and seamless. It's a very well-designed game, though I'm not sure if I want to pay 14 dollars a month to pay for it. You'll definetly only like it if you've played and liked other similar styles of games, like Neverwinter Nights or Knights of the Old Republic. WoW is probably the best D&D style RPG there is but you have to like that type of game to want it.
