There is a tutorial for this.

Hmm I can't find it but all you do is diable the unit, wait a bit ,create an observer and remove the observer.

For the beacon it needs to be stuck to grid for it to work.

This might cool1.gif help...

Trigger
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Set Doodad state Disable UNIT at LOCATION

Some units will crash when you do that
Make sure you put or create an observer there so that it will become cloaked (It will show up as an unclickable unit otherwise) then remove it to become 'invisble'
Arg, no starforge on this comp =\

You mean cloaked. Use the action SET DOODAD STATE and set it on disabled for the unit.

ADDITION: What the censored.gif Kow?

Kow is right. If you disable a unit owned by the computer or something, it will not cloak at first. It will be unclickable. Beinging a detector to it at any time allows it to be cloaked.

That's false. If you disable SPECIFIC units, they will be cloaked, but you can still see the image of it because it was not cloaked properly. You then create an observer or something to see it cloaked, then remove it to make it disappear so that unit has been registered on your screen as "cloaked".

That's exactly what he said.

Ðeathknight is talking about Zerg Playing Dead. In his post it seems like he said for EVERY unit you need to create a detector around it.

I didn't mean for [i]every[i/] unit, but I'm glad it got cleared up before confusing people.

No, he said "it will not cloak at first", which is false.

But you can still see it until a detector is brought there, unless you own it.
