Many people have different choices about music in video games. I was wondering, what are people pros and con choices.

-pro-when music has good looping
-when music matches game(plasma bound really was annoying)

What is your idea of god music?

There should be an option of stopping it.

Pro
  • Very cool effect
  • Gives a bit of a spark to your map
Con
  • Large DL
  • Some people get annoyed
Mostly the music is up to you.

For me its:

-Pro
Gives the map a more emotional feeling to it, if done right.
NEEDS TO BE VERY GOOD MUSIC!

-Con
Big file...(When compressed its just bad really)
LONG DL!(well depending on the size of the file really)

Music in games is a lot different from music that you listen to normally, so you should stick to using video game music.

This tutorial has information on getting this music:

It has to be one that matches the mood, if you have a gloomy map u cant be playing super mario, If it matches the mood everything is fine, like say if u have a twisted metal-like game, u can use "Otherworld" from FFX.
