After reading's SP's post I wanted to reply but I couldn't so I made a new thread making it visible NO SPAM NO FLAME NO STUPID STUFF!!!
If I didn't have money problems, in other words if I could've paid for SEN I would've asked yoshi to put me as administrator in a heartbeat. I know I don't know much .php but there are some pretty good staff/SEN members who I know would teach me. I would've made someone important here at SEN Co-Administrator to help me with .php scrpits. Kinda like the times when Yoshi and SP were admins, I would've done everything exept .php for a while and the other dude would do .php . When I finally learnt enough .php I would be the only admin and the other dude would be staff.

Psh, no. Small, personal websites, sure. But a large site such as this with lots of bandwidth being used (RE: money money), its not financially viable for me. Then theres the deal with having to put up with everyone. Sure, you meet new people online, learn something new, and if this is something you like, then yeah, itll be great. But you can do all that outside and IRL.
Unless this would be something worth someones time and money, then there wont be 100% effort. If isolated were to somehow disappear and the one and only person to keep this place alive was me, Ill be doing it half-assed.

You guys don't realize what its like to be up here. It takes a LOT of work, and if anything goes wrong, its your fault. And if it isn't your fault, its your fault because you hired Mr. X or didn't stop Ms. Y from doing it. If something goes wrong, everyone is counting on you to fix it. Running a site like this would be one of the most time consuming adventures ever. Plus all the idiots you have to deal with.

I agree, I wouldn't want to dedicate that much time to a site to a game that I barely enjoy playing anymore and more so the money.

Too hard, too time consuming. SC is a side-hobby. I barely ever play, let alone map make. When you know just about everything about StarEdit, then you can really push the limits on SC. When you push those limits, you make a site. Well, only the ones with sever-side knowledge do, HTML isn't PHP.

Wayyyy too much work. I set up my little place and even though the database crashes often, they all blame it on me. If SEN exploded, it would be my fault. I'm getting cash for Decemberween and my Bday so I might send some cash for that licence.

I might have the time, but definatly not the money, or skill. My dad could teach me PHP quick, but he is always working so I wouldn't want to waste his time. So to those who can handle this site such as Isolated and Yoshi, well then I say...Good Job!
