I have made a golem map (still in early beta) but latly when Iv added som new units the game began crashing when I played on battle.net. Its random, suddenly people just gets disconnected because starcraft.exe crashes one at a time. It happens with me some times too. And sometimes it happens at the beginning og other times after a while. I have no independent command center or any of those units that will make the game crash in the map. So I dont know why this happens. I have an .err file is that will help.

Maybe you should attach the map. Do you have any triggers that disable units?

it's a golem map, and golem maps have many stacked units, imo, what happened is that you had too many sprites on your screen at the same time and the computer f**ked up.

I remember that a while ago when I played a golem map it had so many ghosts and zealots fighting that when they were shooting I got lag from looking at it.
what happened at your map, is the stage after lag - dissconnect.

it also happens when you make a mod and give units a cool attack that is build of many different sprites, indeed it look cool if you do it right but if you tell many units with this attack to shoot at once the game crashes.

SC can't hold many sprites at the same time, just like every game with out limited computers, and golem maps are a sprite pumping machine.
thus why, imo, without even looking at your map, I can tell that the game crashes because of too many units.

try making a slower spawn and playing the map again, and see if it still crashes when you use less units.
if it still crashes than I guess you used some bad trigger like bolt_head said.

Yeah, but sometimes it crashes at the beginning of the game. Just a few seconds after start. Im including the map file in this post if thats for any help. I dont got any disabled units in the map either.

well, first thing I've noticed in your map is that not all the triggers have a comment, and this is a bad thing in case you're going to ever update your map.
it's much easier to read triggers when they have a comment, it also saves time of finding bugs etc, while it takes only 5 seconds to give a comment to a trigger, so you better do.

also, I got this error while opening one of your triggers:

I don't know how you did it, probobly with SF, but you've placed a trigger which is not owned by any player!
that probobly have something to do with the game crash...

and also, I was unable to see what properties you gave the units in your apply properties actions, this is probobly bugged too.

The error you got is a player12 trigger made in starforge. It kills any unit player12 owns whenever p12 gets any unit (from people that leaves the game). But it haven't worked lately so it might be that trigger who causes the game to crash. And the thing about the properties I know about. But I have played the map many many times with that "bug" so I think it may be something to do with the player12 trigger. So im gonna try playing the map with that trigger deleted. And yeah, I gonna enter comments for each trigger, I just haven'n thought about it. Thanks =)

ADDITION: I deleted the player 12 trigger and tried the map on battle.net. But still people's starcraft crashed. Not all at the time but one there and another one there. Aah. And I know its not the properties thing in some of the triggers that makes the game crash because it hasn't done that before, and the properties "bug" have been there since i made the map. Any other suggestions?

hmm... now that I think about it... can't you just list all the differences from before and after? because you said that before it didn't crashed... what means that the problem is definitly something new...

if you'll post a list it'll be much easier and will take about 1 minute to discover the bug.
unless you've recreated the map...

The spawning of units with properties, I can't open the properties box... Perhaps that is the location of your problem.

Ok, this is what I did (as I can remember) doing after it began crashing;

- Changed the terrain a little bit. Just added a Platform with a spawning dark templar on, and a platform with a "temp place" location on it.

- Added a medic, vulture, observer, carrier and a Archon to the map (middle up).

- Added a Dark archon, 20 infested terrans, Queen and an infested kerrigan to the map (right up).

- I also made some new triggers to all the new units. Especially a new one that is for "All players". When a golem part steps on the platform, the unit the player choosed is moved to "Temp place" (Location, middle left) and then a trigger for each player that moves them from there and to their base. And i made a trigger with the 20 infested terrans that makes them burried when you get them to the base.

- And yes, one thing that might be the problem. I used SCMdraft2 to place map revealers for all players but instead I used starforge and placed map revealers (automaticly) for player7 (neutral) and made a trigger that enables Shared Vision with all the other players.

Thats all I can remember doing before it began crashing. So, maybe one of the changes I made is the source for the crash problem? And as I said, players are randomly thrown out of the game. Its like everybody laggs out. I get the timer, counting from 50 and down and then you can choose to Drop Them. I get it from all the players during the game and sometimes its my starcraft who just crashes when playing the map and it closes and I get to my desktop.

well norvegia, the carrier is the problem.
I player the map, and tried creating intercaptures, as soon as I pressed the button the game crashed for me.

I can't explain why, but I guess that buying free intercaptures in golem maps cause bugs :\
the point is, remove the carrier.

Are you sure the interceptors build time is more than zero? Zero build time does crash the map.

Hmm, its 1 I think. But I dunno, I removed carrier from the map. And its working now =)
