Ok, I guess this map may have been created in starforge but I hadnt realized it when I started editing it and working hard on it. I confirmed that anywhere is 64x128 to the left of the map and then 32 squares on the right of my 96x128 map are not included in anywhere. is there any way I can restore it without making a big anywhere location of my own which would annoyingly get in the way of locations and force me to edit all my current anywhere triggers.
could you be kind and post the map here?
it's kinda hard helping without seeing your map...
if you don't know how to attach maps - press 'ADDREPLY' and scroll down the page, than press 'BROWSE' and choose your map, and press 'attach' and 'post reply'.
make sure that the map is NOT protected so we can see it and see the problem.
How the hell did you move Anywhere that up high and out of the map? I have never experienced anything like that before, my Anywhere has always been slightly bigger than the map(It's always slightly bigger).
It might have been done when you where moving location you dragged to lower right portion of the location to the upper left area. But how did you do that? At least for me I have never been able to do it.
My best guess is he resized the map after he created it. Or he is simply mistaken.
Does resizing it really keep anywhere the same size? I know nothing about what happens when you change the size of anywhere, so sorry if this is completely wrong but I would open it in normal editor and see if it got fixed. I think there are programs that let you change the size of anywhere, perhaps you can change it back.... That's my guess.
I might have resized map that could be it. It is a map I haven't touched in a wicked long time and I miay have resized it whenever I started it. I edited the map down to just two areas zerg creep is anywhere and dirt is well nowhere. check it there are no locations excluding anywhere. Is it fixable or do I have to stop being lazy

and redo it on a un

ed map and import the triggers and copy the terrain over with SF. And also about SF, could the triggers stay the same including the locations if i place in a map with locations of the EXACT same names? or would I still have to back and fix them all yuck. here's the edited version of the map with just the anywhere thing, and its the first of your choices bolt, D-Von is never mistaken! jk that's bs to say you're never wrong
You will have to change the location names back.
However,
this may help. I haven't experimented with it much, si I don't know if it will keep the names if you transfer the locations and triggers. Also I don't know if it'll retain the size of anywhere.
that program by clokr was useful thanks, too bad the location importer didnt work. a string importer would be convienient

I don't know its just a guess.
I think that is how it works. Resizing leaves anywhere the same size from what I have seen, interesting! I wonder if anywhere moves if you use move location labeled anywhere.. I can't imagine anyway this could be made useful though.
WOW, of all the years of editing starcraft, I never would have thought that Anywhere is an actual physical location like ones you can place on the map...
Thats pretty crazy. Thanks for informing me on this phenomenon. I'll have to do some testing...

Its more likely just a bug in the map editor. Something the creator of it didn't think to edit when coding the editor to change the map size. What editor are you using? what version? Have you been able to duplicate the error again?
