Yes I know this is a very stupid question but i have not played starcraft in a year and was just wondering if it was possible yet to make trees in installation terrain or to mix that terrain with snow terrain?

No you cannot mix tiles or doodads from other tilesets.
But you can import sprites using SF v2.2 or SCMDraft 2 0.4.X which allows you to import sprites from other tilesets, that way you can make it seem like you are importing other doodads and if you do it nice enough you can make it seem like there are tiles from other tilesets.

i believe in starforge that you can get sprites from all of the different terrain types, ive looked at it and i think you can.

If you read BeeR_KeG[eM]'s post. You can put sprites that look like the doodads in different terrains.

Meh, let me put this a bit more simpler for those who do not know what a sprite is.

I can put the picture of a snowy tree in the middle of the desert. It would just be the picture because it won't have the properties of a doodad.

That means it will not supply the cover bounus right?

Yeah it doesn't supply cover because the tiles themselves hold the doodad properties, not the overlay(sprite).
