Ok, here is the scoop~

We all know Tuxedo-Templar's map, A&O Saga, right?

Today i saw a map called Desert Trailer.

It was by lil-muzikfrek aka muzikfrek ( on USEast )

Then he denies stealing anything but when i tried to test him by saying lets do a test and see if yoy have the map, ill make, he says "hold on moms calling me"~ the perfect chance to open your sc folder and delete the map.

Just saying, tux, protect your maps with togi.

I care because map theives suck. -.-

Ya you are completely right, but whats the point of putting this in Map ShowCase and StarEdit? Next time post it maybe in garbage or somewhere else.

Mainly because he wants to let map makers acknowledge this map thief and most map makers come to this forum. I would've never have found out about this if it was in the garbage forum thus making the thread here was a better choice.

Personaly i dont scroll that far down to look there...
I go right into map showcase look at the posts i havent posted in yet and then make a post...

I think this is the right place to put it...
We should have a list on SEN with names of map thevies on it so people know to stay away from them

lol, yea..i knew he stole maps a couple of months ago, Outbreak i CAN compile a map stealer list, cause iknow 90% of em

Ha Ha but really, Wrong section at least. I was originaly just going to close the thread and say something like "yes there are idiots in this world, don't bother pointing out each one out to us". But I think I'll just move it to garbage instead.

Map Stealers crack me up. There's no reason why you should try to get even with em, they get what they deserve every night they cry in their bed.

Map making is NOT about fame. It's about virtue. Doesn't matter if ppl dont know you or anything but as long as you have proved to yourself that you are a good map maker, then that's all that matters.

Look... i just wanted to let you know not to show your maps to him, the unporotected ones atleast. it was just a heads up. i am not trying to create a thread for you to use big words on.

this was only to help others in the future.
and bolt head, why would you move it? maybe you consider this garbage but i thibk ive had more positive than negative responses. maybe not, but its just a heads up.

Togi is pretty bad, I suggest a Proedit 1.4.1 compression, Proedit 1.4.1 protection, and your own personal hex edit.

Weather or not I consider this garbage is irrelevant to the reason i moved it. What’s important is it doesn't fit in the section it was in. It was moved to garbage (aka anything goes) because it didn't fit any other section either.

Lol, i remembered before i joined the SEN back in like May of 2004, when i opened up the Proedit download page, it said something like "Warning: There are ways to unprotect maps using this method. We suggest you use Togi since there are no reported ways of unprotecting maps used by it."
