Ok, This is the problem.
Im making an RPG that has a Dt as one of the heros. I need a way for the enemy comp to see it. Curently im using an enemy observer that follows the Dt. Only problem with that is my point system on this map is based, not on how many units you kill, but how long you are close to an enemy unit. (I'll let yall see a test version of it when i finish the first quest) So the Dt hero is constantly gaining points because of the observer i have following it.

Basicly, all I need is a better way of letting an enemy computer player to see cloaked units.

Just give the compuer ally vision with the player that owns the dark templar. So they can see him but he still can't see them.

And if you dont want to give them ALL of his vision just give him the observer and SUBTRACT the points from it afterwords.]

AVERAGE - You know how to use X-tra and how to use all the triggers. You can make maps like RPGs and you know some tricks like cloaking bunkers. People will help you, but assume you already know how to make decent maps. May leave out details because they assume you know already.

This doesn't sound like you, maybe you should lower it a level. wink.gif

What happenes if the player figures out a way to like get an enemy unit stuck behind a bush while he sits there getting exp?

You could uncloak the DT using Player 161 (i think it works anyway)

or, if you wanted the DT hero to retain part of his cloaking power, you could give the computer players each a comsat or two.

And a small handful of observers if the mana for the comsat is set high so they dont abuse them.

Dont worry bout it. I don fixed it, quite simple actually. I just set shared vis for enemy comp for all humen players.

The reason i use points is for the spells. Each hero has a diffrent amount of points to get before they get gas, then they use the gas for spells. So basicly they would just be using the same spells over and over agian and not get any where in the game.

The problem with that is the P161 method works once for one unit.

yea, just do ally vision one way.
