Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Overlaying/Overlapping Tiles/Textures?

I seem to remember playing a Fastest Map Possible that had the water texture overlapped/overlayed overtop of the grass tile to create blue-grass tile/texture. Maybe im just haulucinating, cause I cant find the map anymore.

Is this possible though?

If so, what editor allows this to be done?

I want to make blue ground by overlapping/overlaying the water tile ontop of a walkable tile type.

Ive seen doodads overlayed/overlapped over tiles to where you can see through the doodads but it changes the color of the tile its placed over. Something like this im looking for, but tile over tile rather than doodad over tile is this possible? Id appreciate to know which editor is capable of this (if any).

Thanks.

ADDITION:
Here ya go, im pretty sure this is what you were looking for.
Its the sprite from the pylon aura. Starforge and SCMDraft can both place them

I think that's what you're looking for. I've never heard of overlapping terrain in any map.

Hmmmm.... thanks I guess that aura sprite is the only way to do it?

The one id seen was perfectly square though, 2x2 square area. It could have just been water tiles and maybe my memory is too foggy to remember correctly, but I always thought something seemed odd about it.

If you overlap the aura sprites, does it do the same 'double-blue' color on the overlapping aura parts or do they just merge seemlessly?? Im gonna guess it does the double-blue effect but hmm... Ill hafta check it out thanks.

You guys, please don't post useless things that includes no information.

There is a Terrain called Twilight that has blue gorund.
Your memory is probably foggy and forgot what the "blue-grass" terrain truely looked like.

Legacy, his map skill says Average. This tells me he obviously knows about the tileset Twilight. A solution to his problem has been posted already. The pylon aura sprite. Now stop going around insulting people.

Theres another solution to this problem. Sometimes my comp screwes up and all the tiles on a map change colors a bit like the water it gets kinda a rainbow color to it. Maybe thats your answer.
