Try reinstalling starforge and extract it or unzip it...

Make sure you have Visual Basic 6 installed in your SC file, you need it for SF to work.

if you don't have it you can find it in google, it's a free download.

i never saw this error before, but from my experience, if you are talking about stardat.mpq, stardat.mpq is in your starcraft folder when u installed it. copy it to your sf folder.

I know what happened. It happens to me every time. Sorry I can't help because all I do is randomly drag some folders in and it works. If it happens again I will try to remeber the steps.

If I recall correctly there will be a folder full of the missing files you need. You can't open them they give you an error message so you drag them into the sf folder. Not sure if this is the way. Everytime I install sf I get the same errore message.

I recommand you to install Starforge in your starcraft folder, then download:

-visual basic
-pack1
-pack3

That should be enough to make it work well wink.gif

If it don't, try to PM Heimdal. He the creator, he know most of the issue!

None of the run paks will help you. If it looking for StarDAT.mpq, you need to make sure you have Starcraft installed to C:/Program Files/Starcraft
