First of all, Sc2 will never be comnig out. Unless Warcraft dies and blizzard need to keep themselfs alive and start back on sc world.

ehh its just your opinion. what your taste is in games. this is mainly a starcraft site so probably starcraft broodwar is gonna get the most votes.

We had plenty of polls in the past regarding this issue. Nearly all of them, SC BW won but it's still suprising how many people vote for Diablo and WC3...

Yeah this needed to be that you could vote for more than 1 I voted for SC BW but I wanted to vote for D2 LOD also. Next time make it so you can pick more than 1 option, you can do that in polls right?

To me all Bizzards games are great! There all classics! I Have not seen 1 bizzard game fail!
but the gba games were not that great....
Wacraft 1,2,3 and diablo1,2 and Starcraft and world of warcraft were ALL good!

People only buy SC because it's all they can afford, if Warcraft 3 was 5$ it would be the most popular SC has crappy graphix, crappy map editor, and crappy 1 player. and can only hold up to 8 players a game. warcraft 3 has like up to 10-12 players, awsome graphix, and a freaking huge and powerul editor, and mods work on battle.net, even if a person doesnt have it.

And also Sc is very popular because it is really REALLY easy to burn it. As long as you have a burner you can have sc. Plus the cd keys that are very easy to come by.

I can give a good reason why SC is cheaper, but doesn't have all that stuff you mentioned that WC3 has, it's about 6 years older.

If you played warcraft 2 or the first version of age of empires, it is similar to that - only less user-friendly. You could only select 4 men at any given time, there "god" mode was worthless against catapults, and the workers seemed to love harvesting resources from where the enemy's strongest military force is. Also, there campaign editor was worth :
: , because you couldn't get the comp to do what you can with SC. Besides these flaws, it was pretty aditicive

Warcraft 1 was amazingly popular, who the hell are you kidding? Anyway I'm the first and so far only person to vote for Diablo 1. Why? Simply enough, the game created online RPG's. No other game came close to its action/adventure co-op gameplay and the endless things that you could do with the game. Most people say hackers and dupers killed the game, but they simply are the scum that are avoided. My highest character (44 biotch -.- ) has yet to lose a duel to someone that doesn't use god mode. It is legit 100% and I play co-op with plenty of other good legit friends. In public games I simply use a scanner to tell me if the other players are legit or not.There is even an invite only legit realm that I am on sometimes. It is a clan-thing and requires a password and a file to play in. Hackers that get on somehow get banned from the realm permenantly. It's simple really:

Diablo 1 i loved that game but i never play it anymore cuz people try to kill him and they take all my stuff and also hackers and no one ever plays which equals no games in joining...

I agree with ezday, because sc's editor have limits, people find ways to use the limits to make their maps more popular or fun. It is great finding ways to avoid or go past these limits. People know the limits of SC and good map makers work up to those limits.

I was looking around at a few different stores the other day to buy World of WarCraft. At Best Buy and Circuit City they actually keep StarCraft on the end of the aisle with all the brand new games. I find it ironic since World of WarCraft was hidden away somewhere. Apparently people must still buy the game. Though saying that people buy it because it's all they can afford is a very, very bad argument. To even have a computer and an internet connection you're going to have enough money to afford any game you want to buy. Except maybe that mech game that cost like 400 dollars.
StarCraft 2, I am certain, is next on their agenda. StarCraft Ghost is meant to "bridge the story between SC1 and SC2" or something to that effect, as a Blizzard employee stated. Also, there have been innumerable topicss on Blizzard's forums by Blizzard employees asking people what they want to see in StarCraft 2. As a side note, part of one of the discussions provided a mathematical formula for why WarCraft III is an extremely ty RTS. Anyway, since it's obvious they are setting themselves up to make it, and planning it.. Well it sounds to me like they're making the game already.

I can tell one reason why I don't play WC3 instead of SC. MY COMPUTER! Well, I have both, and they both run well, but WC3 is too complicated. The game is simple, but the worldedit thing is way to complex! I think people like SC better because it is simpler! And cheaper!
