Is there a Way to Turn off fog of war While ur standing there? like ur standing in front of a guy, you make him say something like "One second i need to transform." Then the light go on and off then hes a different unit? or is there a tutorial on this if so please tell me.
Execute AI script 'Turn OFF Shared Vision for Player #'.
Wait for duration milliseconds.
Execute AI script 'Turn ON Shared Vision for Player #'.
Yes, you want to use the "turn off shared vision for (playerX" AI script. If you turn off the vision for the current player, or just all players to be shure, it will show a dark screen. But for a transformation I'd use the death animations of one of the more intresting units, like a Dark templar Dark archon mix. And can you beleve we dont have a tutorial for this?
The reason we don't have a tut for this is because it really really REALLY basic

So the phrase "we have tutorials for everything" is wrong then. That's good to know. The way I see it we Should have a tutorial for any thing thats not in the staredit help file, or is hard to understand from the information in that helpfile.
And I personaly would LOVE to see a breakdown of every action and condition in the list, to tell people what the trigger parts Realy do.
And Kressark, before I forget, there is a delay between the time you order the vision to be turned off, and when it actualy goes away. so you'll need to test to find that time.
Jesus.. We should make urmom a group of his own. Call it, Tutorial Database Oracle.

O ok thanks alot DK. It sounds as if it should work ill get right to trying it

.
The reason for a tutorial not being in the database is because it is self explanitory. It is like tying your shoe. Do you have a tutorial for that?

We do need a tutorial on how to tie a shoe... Im 14 and its still hard to do!

A note on that script: If you run "Show vision for player 3" as a player 1 script, Player 1 will see player 3's vision, AND NOT vise-versa. When running these scripts, the person running the script's vision is affected to whether they can see the player that is the object of the script.
And rememebr that if it players, not computers, the player can easily go to the Allies list and turn vision off again, so if you really need it fro players and aren't supporting bsing in the map, then have it preserve trigger.
