Map Information: You been hidng from the undead for 30 years and you decide to take a stand against the undead, for mankind, No one really knows who was really respondable for the whole virus spreading. There still are soldiers but, only so few, there are still survivors. But most of them are hiding. U.S.A. is just dying from the infection. As you go through the whole game, you soon later find out that Umbrella was the cause of it all. Later on the game, you find out that there is a cure for the virus, the cure only kills the undead though.

Battle System: It's a Final Fantasy battle style system, I thought about putting that in it, cause no one hardly ever using that kind of battle style. Also, if you get a number of exps, you level as you level up you get to upgrade your armor or weapons. If the enemy gets too close to you than you have to fight it. It's that kind of system

Music/Sounds: Theres alot of sounds and a few songs, Theres the intro song, Battle song, and the moving song, The other sounds are used for other stuff,

Map Details: 256x256, 5 human players, 2 computers, 1 neutarl. There will be a demo for it though, The real map might take awhile.

Sound's intresting. I hope it better than all the other RE maps.

I find that an FF battle system in an RE game kinda unusual, but ok. Hope u finish the beta soon.

If you knew the later parts of the RE storyline, and its 2029, everyone would know it was Umbrella already.

You: I summon the Shotgun! Does 500+ bonus damage to undead!
Friend: ALL of our enemies are undead!
You: A better reason to use this summon!
Zombie: I summon 5000 more zombies!
Zombie 2: well It will never get to be thier turn now
Zombie 3: well who wants pizza?
Zombie 4: ooh ooh! me me me!!!!
You:Wow how did It get to be my turn? I kill Zombie 3!
Zombie 5: No my friend! I do the feeble 5 damage to your 5000 hp!
Zombie 6: me too!
Zombie 7: Oh and me also!

Some Hours Later:

Zombie 5000: he finally has 1 hp left! I do Curaga on him! oops... Pressed wrong button.. Here we go again! I summon 5000 more zombies!

anway ied like to know how we have been hiding for 30 years how we got our food and water i dont think it should be a EXP map it sounds liek a sad excuse of a RPG but o well

I take it the orginal RE took place in 1999 right?(cant rember its been so long)

make a Demo like you said and waitfor a few weeks and get replys on what you should add and such over all it seems ok

Well, Most of the survivors live in the sewers and they built their own kind of water Pumping station, and also, I'm not sure how they got food, I never thought about that.



Well, I'm still trying to fix most of the glitches, on the map. I few a glitches on the map. Hopefully tomorrow they should be fixed. That's what happens when you keep working and when you go test it you later find out that's more glitches here and there.

Will there be shotgun summons? Eh EH?

There aren't going to be any summons, At the beginnning you get to pick your weapon, later on the game, you get to switch to some newer weapons.

jet blast kind of got a point, i personally think these maps fit better with real time combat and tense atmospheres. I'm not saying your map does not generate good atmosphere... just implying my thoughts.

Demo is almost completed, I just need to work in Quest 1, Also, on the game you will get quests as well. There are more shelters/towns through out the game just to tell ya.

Final Fantasy turn base system?
NO Very bad idea!

Reasons:
-RE Is only good cuz of its puuzzles and great thrid person combat
-When megaman did rpg it didn do that well....
-Zombies don't wait in turn based they scearw turn based
-Its better off in solveing puzzles, Facing Zombie Bosses, Good story

Good things about it
-might be a new horror rpg
-Loads of enemies and weapons from RE!
-30 years of hiding could be a good plot like this below.

Plot i made up:
For 10 years i've been hiding with my parents ever since I was a child... My father was the chief of the racoon police department. He was strong and never gave up.... my mother was a nurse.. together my mom and dad made a great team... but soon one night when we were hiding... a zombie came to kill us with no other zombies it wore a black coat it slide my dad and mom i could't do anything.. then it grab me and infected me... I fell a sleep and woke up with infected arm but i felt stronger and the t-virus didn''t effect me... I was confused but i undrrstanded one thing i had to live.... And now i'm 30 trying to find a way to stop the T-virus...

Well, there are going to be some puzzles instead, but, that's only later on in the game, but, on the demo. You have to do quests, On the real game, you have to do quests, puzzles, and yes there going to be bosses as well. The real game might take a while to finish, but the demo, is just about finish. I already tested most of the demo, and most of the people who tested it with me told me that it was great or good, some actually asked me when the real map is going to be finished.

mmm... I just found this topic and here are some opinions...

-Turn Based System sounds ok but make sure you have the feeling of danger wherever you go... You need that in this kind of map.

-Story... Where and what were the zombies doing for 30 years... Wouldn't they be finding you because I don't think you could hide for 30 years and not get found...

-Grenades? Weapons? How many hits would you beable to take from a zombie?

Overall I Don't like the turn based RE Idea....

Well, The Survivors lived in the sewers most of the time, they built their own type of shelters and water pump stations, They also have guards to help keep the places safe, If they keep being attacked alot, they'll move to a new area.

Soo, there is going to have a sewer? Maybe Many camp around? A place you could rest a bit, or you will have to recome back into the main base?

This kinda sounds like the terminator lol...

You are hiding form the zombies and you are hidden underground... Mabe you should have it so that osme missions require you to get into the sewers and protect an outpost... This game sounds fun

How does it sound like the Terminator? Cause I never did thought of it that way actullay. On the Terminator, the whole world been nuked by SkyNet's nukes, and also. Tech-Com (Human Resistance) Lived in subways mostly,

This is diffent right, But, I really did never thought this map was like the Terminator it doesn't sound like it either.
