is anyone good at balanceing units and would like to help balance the units for my map when its rdy? thanks

take a couple of the units and make an extra map and make them 1v1 each other. whichever one wins, subract close to how much health he had before he killed the other unit.
example: say a marine and a ghost are fighting. the marine wins and has 17 health left. he had 120 to begin with. subtract 17 health from the total health so his max health is 103. this should theortically work

The best way to balance units is playing the map over and over and over and have numerous peoples opinion. Or at least thats how I do it =p.

Yeah i agree with Pears because some maps are meant to not be perfectly balance, but have some units better in the end and some in the beggining. Like in diablo 1.. Warrior is best in beggining, Rogue is medium throughout and Mage owns at the end

Yea sometimes one side is supposed to be a harder challenge at the start because of some advantage they posess later if they survive the start. As nicely illustrated in Coop's Diablo 2 example .
