Hey guys can you put Protoss sheilds on a terran battlecruiser? im making my own campain missions and the sheilds on a battlecruise would go along create.

A mod isn't on a map. It is a seperate file from the map that needs to be ran to have the change you want.

A mod is a changed SC. You changed SC to make things that aren't meant to be done in the editor like changing unit sprites, attack speed, attack sprites and stuff like that.

If you wan't to play a mod over b.net the other person needs to have the same exact version.

Giving a bc shields is really easy to do but completely unrelated to map making. But i'll tell you anyway...

Just get ahold of Arsenal III!
Then visit Stormcoast Fortress. They have a good page on modding, but once again, MODDING IS SOMETHING ELSE!

How to give a bc shields: Get some kind of cloaked protoss unit, then have it always follow the BC. Now the cloaked unit must be owned by an allied computer without vision. Now have the allied computer vision the enemy computer. Make the BC invincible. The enemy will attack the allied computer and it will look like the Battlecruiser has shields. Use virtual unit HP for everything else.

yeah, you can give a battle cruiser the effect of having shields.

it's not that tricky, all you need to do is have some ouothernit which has shields follow the babattlecruiserround, give that unit 1 HP and as many shields as you think the babattlecruisereeds, then aslong as as longnit is alive, set the battle cruiser to invincablinvincibilhat unit dies remove the invincablinvincable battle cruiser, and start a deathcount to when the battlecruiser gets it's shields back up.
pleese pleasehis only works if you have no more then ONE battlecruiser per player
but, you can use the hero battlebattlecruisersu realy reallymore.

In the example I'm using a carrier, with intersinterceptersled and the location named 'battleshields'

this trigger moves the location and moves the carrier to it's place

¤ player (The guy with the battlecruiser)
Conditions:
¤ curencurrenter commands one battlecruiser

¤ set deaths of uraj crystal to 30 (if your not using hyper triggers)

¤ current player has suffered aat least1 death of uraj crystal

¤ Create 1 at battleshields for player.
Apply properties (shields set to 30%)

OMG EASIER WAY THAN THAT MY FRIENDS
all you need is a science vessle and 100 energy
have it cast defensive matrix on the bc
its the closest thing you can get without using a mod.
