you culd just display a invalid image in the image slot to crash briefings.

You want people to play your maps not crash trying to read the briefing so what's the point of intentionally making the briefing crash on them?

The briefing crash could work for getting rid of AFKs who make everybody wait. Of course, the alternative is to make the briefing auto-start. Although if everybody has to make a choice, the AFK guy could hold everybody up. The crash just dumps him before he holds everybody up in the game. So basically, if the briefing is supposed to 'end' at a certain point, and it displays 'Press Start' on the 'screen' where the scrolling text is, make the mission objectives say that you have to press start before the game crashes. When you wait long enough, the invalid portrait (if I comprehend properly) is displayed and the guy who's holding everybody up crashes.

..-This has been a wierd thought from Ed331, who wants his name fixed in 007Torrasque's Screenshot Contest topic.

Actually if the briefing crashes for the user, the game would never start. (Read about this somewhere).

But of course it would never start and somebody could just be "afk" because you are a noob at map making and used "Wait 9999999" on the briefing.

Reasons for briefing crashes:
• Loading a portrait that doesn't exist.
• Running an action that doesn't exist.
• Running a corrupted wav file.

You are a dumbass if you crash a briefing deliberately.

No cause if the game hasn't started then everyone is veiwing the breifing and it would crash everyone. (Pressing start only stops the breif if you wait to press start until halfway though the breifing, if you press start as soon as the breifing screen comes up you will actually watch the breif.
