Hey, anyone know how to give Add-ons to a player? Because i tried it and for some reason it wont give me the addon...



Trigger
Description:
Give Add-on to player bug
Conditions:
¤ Current player brings atleast 1 Marine to Silo
Actions:
¤ Give all Nuclear Silo to current player at Silo


... it doesnt work at all. Anyone know what to do?

If it is connected to a command center before it is given to a the current player, than try giving the command center to the current player and then giving the silo to the current player. I am assuming it was placed using sc xtra or SCM draft 2, which makes a difference. Starforge seems to like placing the add-on without the need for it's attached building. Also, another trigger could be interfering with your trigger.

Since the addon isn't attached to a building it is likely that it isn't owned by any of the players. Use "neutral player" or "all players"

Those pre=placed usable addo-ons don't work in give triggers. Any add-on that is attached to it's parent building will work right with a give trigger.

well maybe its the trigger. you have it so that if current player owns a silo, you have it giving it to current player. so basically it just looks like your giving it to the same player or the conditions arent being met because they dont own the silo.

Hmm, i remember earlier on i got it to work. Thanks for the help anyways. Maybe i was executing the trigger from the Current Player instead of executing it from Player 7 which owns them. I think executing a trigger from P7 will work. biggrin.gif

If the problem isn't that the building is attached then my guess is that you simply put the wrong player on the part where you say who owns the add-on. Double check that just in case.
