HEY YO WUSSUP MAN WHAT COLOR IS BLACK AT THE PLAYERS COLOR? STARFORGE DOESN'T HAVE BLACK ON IT, IT HAS GLOWY GREY. I CAN'T DL GUEDIT CUZ IT FUX UP, SO PLEASE ANYONE TELL ME WHAT COLOR IT IS

In some cases the colors change at every angle the unit turns at,for example no.113 the unit might appear to be mostly green while at times it would appear to be made up of red.

Identical colors are different by how they appear on the minimap screen,some black colors would appear as white,while some as grey or blue.

The best black color is no.143 it appears as black on the minimap screen.

The colors no.233-255 are crashing SC,I'm not sure which one or exactly how many.

Color 221 looks like the camouflage colorrs the army uses.

That list is old too. I remember having an updated version that told you the different effects the colors have on different terrain.

I wouldn't be surprised if the whole list is wrong past #18, what with the patches since then. Any colors past 18 seem to be generated by yanking values from other parts of StarCraft.exe's code, so whenever they change it, the colors and their behavior (ie crashing, etc.) should change, too.

Knowing player colors doesn't matter towards making a good map.

It depends on the maps you make and your personal style, to weathor or not you actually change the player colors.
