You tried what?

No player really owns doodads. Except the moving ones like doors and floor traps, there owned by player 12.

Traps and doors doodads placed in the installation tileset are owned by the player that is currently selected. So if player 1 is selected while you are placing the doodads they will be owned by player 1.

QUOTE(SCC Staredit FAQ)
...each trap has an owner; whichever player was selected when the trap was placed is its owner. The trap retains the control properties (neutral / computer / rescue / human ) of its owner. Unfortunately, once the trap is placed there is no way in the Campaign Editor to change or even determine which player owns the trap...

So if i like place a trigger on a trap doodad that gains control over traged Doodad Tar, it wont work or how do ya'll mean? And if i place a Istallation left pit door with player 1, and then one same as player 2, does that still make the player 2 to be player 1?

I believe there was a map called floor trap D where you could control traps, unless it was just a trap controlled by one person and you just activate it, not too sure

I thought they, in that game, were placed for a neutral player, and then given to you...

If you want the traps/doors to open and close/pop up to attack or not, enable or disable doodad state for them.
