"Arch" is a prefix and shouldn't be used for seperate choices. Archangels are still angels, and archdemons are still demons.

They're all just different spellings for the same things, except, of course, in the case of the "arch" prefix that Moose pointed out.

I like to call angels 'seraphs', and demons daemons, personally.

There are classes of angels, 2 of which (Not including archangels) are Cherub/Cheribum and Seraphs/Seraphims.

There are acually 9 classes of angels

Seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominations or dominions, virtues, powers, principalities, archangels, and angels.
