I just watched that movie and thought it was pretty damn good. I think i've heard of a Resident Evil 2. How long has that been out? Or is it even out yet? If so tell me about it.

Resident Evil was a fun movie for me to watch, it did have a nice-ish storyline. I don't know if I'd watch it again though. Resident Evil 2 as far as I know isn't out yet, last I heard it was in production. I have seen a trailer for it, but if Resident Evil 2 (the movie) was really out I'm sure i would've remembered.

Yeah i knew it was a game althought i never played it. I didn't know which was based off of which tho.

That we are but the resident evil map you will see is going to be based off of the video game Resident Evil: Director's Cut.
if you liked the first one, watch the second one because its a lot better
It has not been confirmed that the team's first map will be a Resident Evil map, although it seems to be going that way thanks to some rigourous indoctrination and advertising.

Resident Evil Apocalypse (2) is already out. I came out like 2 weeks ago (i have it on dvd)

Ah, yes but i didn't enjoy apocalypse as much as everyone else, the director didn't know alot about the whole resident evil sequence (Ive read the novels played all the games, know almost everything needed about resident evil. and if i dont i can find the answer within 10 mins.)
I doubt the director didn't know about it, but rather he chose to change it a little bit.
Its part of directing, you can't just keep everything the same, it won't work for a movie. Look at Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter.
(but don't compare them, there like two differant classes of movies)
