Its generally small, hence the name pixel art.

pixel art is art that u make one pixel at a time, generally doesnt matter what size of pixel you use or how big the image is just as long as its a image

Ya, just because it's done in MSPaint does'nt mean it's pixel art, newbs
What makes it pixel art is the METHOD.
I seriously doubt those are done pixel-by-pixel+copynpaste.
I think that the all encompassing 'line art' is what those are.

I'd post some, but I don't have any of my damn pixel art.
At all.

Pekkel thats not pixel art and Johnz i doubt thats pixel art either.
This is pixel art and my piece of entry. I made this for a course I was taking on some site, but the course kinda stopped in the middle so i didn't get any better at pixeling. T.T

I seriously doubt that you made that 1 pixel at a time.
The lines are too jagged and random; it looks like you used the pencil tool.

for pixel art, open Borland C and program your art.
pixel(1,1,9);
pixel(1,2,9);
The two first parameters are dimentions and the last is color, use colors 1-16 (you can find the list in the Borland help files).
I enlarged it because you barly see it when it's 20*20.

I remember I made a cool tank graphic for a game I once made in C but that was in my old computer and I can extract that picture now, and I'm too lazy to make it again from scrach since it takes lotsa time.

Pixel art sucks, photoshop is better, just too bad it's costy :\
