I tryed looking in the faq and i got confused i was just wondering what other ways i could get minerals

Well you can get them in SC Armys, or Zerg Pets. (you can also lose them though that)
Other than that its better not to know, if you know how there rewarded then you will be more tempted to cheat the system witch isn't allowed.
