Is editing maps ok here, so long as you leave the creator's name, and put your own as an editor? I edited a map in a place I went to a long time ago, and they appearently had a rule against it. happy.gif I never saw one, I defended myself, even getting them to notice they never put that in their rules section. They banned me.

I think so... I mean as long as the creator's name is still in there I think it would be fine. I'm not sure though, read all the rules carefully.

It depends on the situation, if you rigged it. That's bad. But if you fixed a minor/major glitch and/or grammar/spelling, i suppose that's okay, but i would get consent of the creator first. happy.gif *Sigh*

Well, none of the enemies are renamed, none of the NPCs say anything, one of the heroes is not renamed, and the introduction and explanations of how to play are vague.

Though there are two things, I haven't asked the creator yet, and I don't know if it's protected or not.

Well you should have tried to edit it first before asking to make sure you can even edit it.

I think if you do edite it, you should leave everything the way it it. Don't add edited by (name) just put it in the briefing for a few seconds or just edited and don't even add your name.

Strange idea, best summed up by "shoot first, ask questions later"?

...

Wait, why not put your name? If you put in the effort to make it better, you should have the right to credit for that. That's what I think, anyway
