I play css. A lot. Lol.

Meh, it's okay. But Team Fortress Classic is so much better. It requires more skill, not whoever has the better gun.

I don't play counterstrike. I have seen alot of people play it though. It seems like and OK game.

ehh i have cs and css. cs 1.6 sucks. css is pretty cool. better graphics and more realistic.i like half-life 2:deathmatch too. i also have hl-2

Since I am stupid, I was wondering... how do you make a customized spray logo? I mean I got the pic and everything, just where do I put it?

ehh for cs, get a program called wally, resize your picture so that its less that 130x130 pixels and it has to be able to be divided by 16. then go to Wally and go to the option Wizard. Under wizard it says HL Color Decal. open that and upload your resized small picture. then click next or whatever( i havnt used it in a long time). then just save in in your cstrike folder. C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike. the file should be called pldecal.wad.
for css, you can just upload it in the file menu, its in one of the options with controls sounds etc.

I've played CS before but I like Delta Force: Black Hawk Down more. CS is fun, but I think BHD is better. Shank those 'rines, baby!

I LOVE Counter-Strike. If I'm playing in a normal game, I'll likely have an MP5. In 'deathmatch' modded CS servers, I might have anything.

Talking about TFC, I like TFC too. And DoD.

Mp5 Isn't that good. It's too weak for close range, it has too much recoil for far range, and you barely ever get yourself into a midrange situation.

WHAT? MP5 is the best! (From DE_Aztec, flash movie) No, not really, M4 is the best. Or the Krieg Auto, or Bullpup.


Hehe, DoD is fun cause you can crawl and dive. But when ever I dive I usually fall into a pit or into water :/

Counter strike... I've never played it!
But i played CS2D which is dAMN FUN!
Same Sound,Same maps,Same weapons,same gameplay abit.

-No jumping or ducking
-2d graphics

its a matter of how well you use your guns. MP5 can be good if you can control it right. obviously m4s are better because they are stronger but a good MP5 person could kill a decent m4 person


i thought there was jumping and ducking. hmm i didnt find that game that fun.

Ive played it its alright i will probably get it like every other game...

Dumbest comment...EVER. Counterstrike is nothing but skill. I mean you can get lucky and get a few kills like that. But you have to know how to use the weapon for it to be effective. FYI MP5 is best used for close range. If you run at the guy and shoot...the recoil shoots the gun up and its easy headshot. And BTW...best gun is Famas. With burst mode it dominates long range. Click kill. Close range is also very effective. CV is awesome. I like to single shot with it. What is you guys' favorite map? Mine is Inferno from cs. But until they make it for css, I like dust the most. Mainly because Famas dominates that map =D.

Burst is Really good for far range but, in close range you have to keep switching to auto
and it isn't as much effective at close range, but at mid range it's Horrible. A cheap weapon like the mp5 would beat the crap out of it.

The other guy comes up with a better gun and hs you faster, or better yet, one shot one kill you with a shotgun. It's only at full effect to mid range opponents.

Well if they headshot you faster that has nothing to do with the gun does it? You must be better than your enemy! You must kill them before they kill you!

I'm more of a Quaker and if I play CS I use the railgun (awp,all ranges)

Oh C'mon, yeah right. In CS you have so much more of a chance of getting a head shot then killing them regularly. In CS, bigger gun = more kills. So newbies with the big guns own everyone EXCEPT for the people that have no life except for CS and can get headshots on people with pistols from across the map. You can have everyone on your team go rouge and still win. Basicly, its the people with the most money will win.

on TFC, the classes are evenly balanced. Since you can't buy weapons, you wont have spies with Chain Guns and stuff that would be cheap. (Unless you have drop mod :/ ) Also, TFC is more tactically advanced too. Instead of just going out and killing people (Offense, for people who don't know) you have to play both offense and defense in a TEAM strategy. Everyone has to work together to capture the flag, or capture points, and to keep the enemy from getting it. There's more ways to get around on the maps, like vents and water pools, underground tunnels and stuff, yet on CS, the only other way to go is to climb stairs and go above the passage. And a few vents.

Also, on a realistic note, if you have kevlar, wouldn't that make you immune to pistols? Cause in many things I've read, its said things about kevlar stopping RIFLE bullets. Wouldn't it stop pistols?

It can stop some bullets, not a whole magazine or clip.

P.s. Without the kevlar 6-7 bullets from either starting pistol kill you, With the kevlar it takes 12 - 14 shots

Wow you obviously know NOTHING about cs. I use some of the least expensive guns in the game and do just as well as people who use awps or other higher costing guns. So bigger gun means nothing. And just because you are good and enjoy a game enough to play it frequently...doesn't mean you have no life. Hello, you're chating on a gaming forum. If you are making fun of these people, maybe you should leave this area ?_? Teamwork is the most important thing in the game so the rouge comment is retarted. If you are competitive then the whole game is teamwork. You say people with the most money win...maybe they have the most money because they are really good? So to sum this all up...stfu please?

In TFC, I don't see how there really is strategy. I mean if one class was better than another, than I could see some teamwork going on, but really, it seems a mix of glorified DM and CTF.
