Damn lag, it made the thread but without a post.

Anyways, just to make it short. Me, Cloak(U) and SaLaCiouS(U) decided to make Channel: Clan SEN, not for the ehck of it but to have a more permanent and a more profesional channel.

Can we keep it as an official channel for Map Night and other SEN related issues?

BTW: I'll be using this also as the channel for SEN Mapmaking Team.

I saw it too, I was like WTF a topic wihtout posts?! heh, now I know that that's possible. Bugs makes everything possible, bugs are the future!

Not really a bug, just lag. Posting a topic has two different entries in two different tables ... 1 is for the topic itself (title, desc, creator, etc) and the 2nd is all the posts.
So if SEN died or someone hit stop/back/whatever before it created the 2nd entry in the db (which is probably only possible during lag), you'd get a blank topic.

I had been waiting like 15 minutes to make this one trhead, pluss the time it took me get into SEN and into this forum which was about 30 minutes.
Anyways can we switch to Channel: Clan SEN, stay in Op Staredit.net or keep both.

I suggest keeping both, one as a back-up channel since sometimes Op Staredit.net gets full and people can't get in.

I really don't know. I was looking for Staredit.net account yesterday but I couldn't find it.
Salacious(U) currently has Ops of the channel unitl we find who has Staredit.net or SEN. Currently we have Sen[1] or Salacious(U) as Ops.

So basically the Starcraft Map Making team of SEN has to go to the WC3 only channel clan SEN.

I don't own the account SEN. I was waiting for so long for that name to become open, but it never did. We stuck with staredit.net.

I have no idea why the account is not free.

Because someone is using it. Or because it's 6 months aren't up yet.

I really don't know why it doesn't let any Sc people in now.
Yesterday at Map night it was filled with Sc people. Maybe it's becasue someone is needed as Ops...

Ops is usually more safe. We're all about starcraft, we should stick to op.

I just got the account: SEN for Wc3, so now if SaLa can give the account Ops and I give it to one of you guys to hold bot.

I would stick to op staredit.net instead of having random people running the bots and channel. It would also be less confusing the people because it wouldn't change. When I went into clan SEN at Map Night there weren't even any ops in there and there was a bot with a greet message, which is an auto-ban from the op channel. Also, clan SEN won't even work for StarCraft users unless a WC3 user opens the channel. Not to mention we aren't a clan.

Agreed smile.gif

I also don't think we need a channel that allows up to 7 operators for an event that only happens once a week, two more than effecent.
