Holy frick, I've been stuck on the same level for about a week. I'm having uber trouble getting past the hangers. I read online that they're the hardest part in Legendary...

Anyone got suggestions to beat Hanger A-02?

Hangar A-02? Where is that? Cairo Station(the first level)?

Yea i always die on that part at the beginning. They keep killing my allies and then would outnumber me and slaughter the crap outta me

Suggestions: just play more halo2 and eventually ur skills will improve

Well yea, that is if you're able to evade all those plasma beams being fired at you constantly...

Is that the Cairo level?

If it is I've beaten it...after 5 hours of playing. The same checkpoint over and over again.

The first time I beat it I got the skull that when you kill the enemy with a head shot they blow up like there was a plasma grenade on them. That can help you beat.

I had no trouble at the beginning when they pop out of the door, I had trouble when I was at the second "tube" (forgot the name, when they keep coming out of the tubes) part.

Good trick to kill elites: is have a Plasma Pistol in one hand and an SMG, magnum etc in other hand. Charge up plasma pistol hit elite, it will take off all shield and then shoot them with the other gun.

Anyways, I hid in the the parts where there were stairs and a door, where when you beat them the door would open. All I do is stay in there when they pop out of the tubes I would throw a grenade. the just wait for them to come close to the stairs then I would shoot them. If you are not talking about the first level then I am sorry for all this wrong level info tongue.gif. I am not good at explaining things too...

That part at the second tube is extremely hard, a good tip is to try to stay stealthy and pick off one at a time, dont run blindly in or try to take them all out at once, or you could try to lure them through a door after your allies are dead, once they come through the door use a Plasma sword or the Plasma Pistol/Smg combo which is also good at taking out other spartans.

I usualy pick off as many as I can with frags and then take down what's left with smg/plasma rilfe (I havn't quite gotten used to the changes they made to the plasma pistol)

Is that the part when they are pooring out of the pods? Not the first pod encounter but the second pod encounter I assume because that was the hardest. I played this with a friend and i stayed to the left where you come out of the door (there are like 2 stationary machine guns behind you). While my friend backtracked a bit to get on the second floor of that hanger. We use the human carbines and we called out elites to each other one at a time and focus fired on it until it was dead then moved on to the next elite. When you kill one wave, try to get a grenade inside their pod because if you time it right you can get some nice damage on the next wave coming out.

Nah it is more like 3 shots from a plasma rifle anywhere on you and you are dead in legendary. 1 shot from a sniper anywhere on you and you are dead. Hunters melee/attack = dead in one hit. Plasma pistol i still have not counted how many shots it takes to kill you porbably 6.

I couldn't even get past that level, its impossible.

But I tried another level on legendary, and 2 shots from a ghost kill you. WTF.

The only level i've been able to beat all the way through was the earth stage. The only real hard part was when there were energy snipers and those flying covenant.....sooooo annoying.

I hate the earth stage, it's so boring. Actually, most of the Masterchief missions were boring. The Elite (AKA the arbiter) missions were really fun.

And btw, those flying covenants are called banshees... lol

This game is too easy. The last level is WAY WAY too easy. Even halo 1's last mission was harder than this one.

Those aren't the flying things I was talking about. I was talking bug-looking things. Banshees are the Covenant airplane.

Those flying things arent covenant are they?

Because in the end, they were fighting against the grunts and elites. I think they fought with the brutes like the jaquels did.

Speaking of jaquels, how come they sided with the brutes at tne end? Aren't they covenant as well?

The first level i had a hard time with I got as far as I can't remember but past the part where you go into space.
Anyway I think the part your talking about was an easier part for me. Of course after figuring out what to do I had killed the first group of elites that came out with a grenade. I had knelt down and snuck up on them because they usually are looking the other way then throw a grenade. Also I had taken small boxes and made a barriace in front of the covenant ship hole and next to the large crate in case I was spotted while trying to retrieve plasmas from the covenants when they looked the other way. The next part can be a little hard that's why I used a box again i pushed it down the stairsand created a barricade so when I retreat to heal shields the covenant could not follow me. Also there are smg's in this rom After this part don't bother to take the box with you because when you go ahead there are two elite's that come out of the door's and the game load's making the box'es disapear.

Millenium think of it this way as the story went on the elites lost their stand in the war to the brutes so wouldn't the smaller guy's ally with the winning team? Beside's when your covenant you would need variety of enemies. Most of the stuff on halo 2 was to confusing and many part's were left out. BUT THE HUNTERS STILL OWN although in the game you only see like 2 lol.

by the way I asked this a long time ago did anyone realize that in halo 1 hunter's bleed flood blood and sometimes even master chief does?

A) They're called drones.
B) Drones, Jackles, Hunters, Elites, Grunts, Brutes, and Prophets are all Covenant.
