Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Recall Trigger
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2004-01-01 at 16:08:52
I've seen in some map how people use the "recall ability throughout triggers" but when i try to do so... it just don't happens, ill make an example:

Condition
Current player brings at least 1 men to (location)

Action
-Create 2 Arbiters at (location)
Apply properties (full energy)
-Run AI script (cast recall at location)
-Create 2 (units) at (location)

What am i doing wrong?
Also, is there triggers to cast dark swarm, or ensnare or broodling?
Thnx for your time

Make sure that the arbiters are not player owned, and that recall has been already reasearched.

-Dark Swarm: No, but you can have a spot on the map with some DSwarms, and a trigger that teleports one.
-Ensnare: Not that I know of, best guess/bet would be SF.
-Broodlings: Well, all you have to do is Kill Unit At Location, Create 2 Broodlings. Not as pretty? Well TS(tough 5)-(17)

What do you mean with not player owned?!?!?

Give the arbiter to computer

Edit: Arbiter Spelling

If its owned by a player (not computer) then the trigger will not work. Additionally, you cannot use it to recall your units, but it will work only for the computer using it.

Thats why the trigger name is "Run AI script at location". AI stands for Artifical Intellegence. And I sure hope that anyone who plays starcraft doesn't have intellegence that is artifical.

Well some AI triggers work for players. Like enter and exit bunkers and transports.

1. Make sure the arbiters are not controled by a neutural player either.
2. Make sure the trigger is for the player who controls the arbiter.
3. (as said before) make sure arbiter is not controled by human player.

Actually, about 80% of my intelligence is artificial. As you can tell, the technology hasn't come very far, has it? I mean... UGH. You know too much now. sad.gif

I don't think so...

One thing, does disruption web work basically the same way too? Like the Arbiter and stuff?
