Planetside is an MMOFPS. Here is some info on it. Its a great game btw..
Planetside:
-Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter
-Loads of different weapons like:
Plasma Rifles, Assault Rifles, Rocket Launchers ect...
-Lots of different armor choices like:
No armor - Uniform
Medium Assault Armor
Heavy Assault Armor
3 Different Mech Armor Suits
-Detailed worlds and continents with lots of bases
-3 different races to choose from.
Tell me if any of your either play this game or dislike it or plan on getting it. I need a friend to play with

Interesting, still the Matrix Online and Star Wars Galaxies are already beating it. Even though the Matrix isn't even out.

sry but IT HAS A FEE!!! I DON'T LIKE FEES.... Lots of the mmorpg has fees like WoW. And I don't like fees

I tried it when it first came out. My computer could NOT handle it. it requires at least like 512 ram (I had 128, then upgraded because of it to 256)

Yeah, I play SWG also. It is a bit better but I still enjoy playing planetside

I'd wait for Guild Wars... Made by some people who worked at Blizzard... including the director of Starcraft... The best part? NO MONTHLY FEE!

I hate monthly fees, thats why I didnt get WOW or the newer final fantasy games...guild wars sounds promising though...
