I didn't turn up any images, but I did turn up in an article about the SEN hacking incident that catalysed Yoshi's departure. I didn't realised I'd been quoted.
HereThat's the Google cache of the webpage, as it doesn't seem to exist anymore. I can't believe I wrote that at the time, but it really did seem that the mapmaking community was collapsing, with a bunch of people getting sickened by the events and leaving.
I also turn up as a blog written by some foul-mouthed teenager who's angry at the world; on Warcraft.org; Blizzforums; as the navy-captain owner of an outdated guestbook; As CaptainWill of CaptainWill's Xanga Site fame; on Starcraft.org; Starcraft Legacy; Silvernetworks Plaza (When I used to program simple games); Mac Gamemaker Forum (Where I'm boasting about myself winning an A.I. bot programming tournament, lol); On EVula.org as a caricature in some person's picture database; as a reference on PlaneShift's forums and finally, here on staredit.net.
As you might tell from the exhaustive references (about 90% of which are actually me), I've been around for a long time on the net, and I've been to many many forums. I'm a forum jumper - I go from one place to the next, making a tiny impression on each. I never become a mod, but I'm a 'Legend' on GameFAQs and have almost 1000 posts on UKL forums (Now TSR).
My first forum experience was at AmbrosiaSW.com, about 5/6 years ago. I still have an account there under the name Captain Will.
There you are, a little bit of insight into CaptainWill's internet history.
