press this link, it's Deathknights trick testing map thing

It shows you hwo to do that, as well as many other things. Make sure the computer owns the unit when it is disabled and enabled, then still owned by the ccomputer when it id ordered to move and then moved. Then, make sure the player doesn't see it for a few seconds, because that can cause a crash, seeing it cloak. I hope that helps you with your crashing.

(In Deathknights map, don't move the screen for a little while, or else teh cloaking mutalisk can crash your SC).

What are you trying to cloak?

create an arbiter near the unit and have it be inv. and do 0 dmg, disable lockdown so it can't be temporarily stopped, but if you want it to be like the owner only has the cloaked unit and the cloaked unit alone, then i can't help u there

Not all units can be cloaked. That is why it porbaly crashed.

And Mediocremapmaker, if the arbitor is invincible you cannot do anything to it. Not magic spells or lockdown will effect it.

Actualy that's not exactly true, Invincable units can still be effected by EMP, and I think that disruption web still effects them as well, but I've not tested it.

No direct spells affect it.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by KaboomHahahein on 2005-01-15 at 15:13:54
I meant direct spells like LegacyWeapon. No plague, blind, lockdown etc. Will a medic heal the invicible unit if it is hurt?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by LegacyWeapon on 2005-01-15 at 15:18:23
No because it is a direct spell.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2005-01-15 at 20:10:49
No it's not. A medic will heal an invincible unit. Provided it can be healed to begin with.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EdAi on 2005-01-16 at 23:16:00
depends on whether the unit is REALLY inv. or just LOOKS inv., cuz sumtimes it only LOOKS inv., but u can still hurt it

heh, didn't think an "arguement" would break out

No, I know I'm right. A medic can heal injured invincible units.

No, I don't know it all. But I've done enough to know more than most map makers. That's one of the reasons why I offer my help in these forums.

He hasn't posted in a couple days so I'm guessing he got his problem solved, plus you're now spam posting, I'm closing this.
