WAY Back (like 4 years ago) I wrote a program that converted 256 color bitmaps into terrain on StarCraft maps. I just did it to put the battle.net logo on a map. I never again used the program, much less ever made a release for it (too lazy to debug it lol).

devilesk it helps if you convert the picture to like 8 color mode AT THE MOST.
I always use BMP2SCM you have alot more control over it.
