Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Multiple Party Moving

I'm having a bit of a problem consisting of many many repetitive triggers...

Say player one got in a random battle, I want to give just player ones certain party unit at player ones party unit location to player 8, then move player ones hero unit from the prison (to keep from moving around the map) to the area were the battle ensues, then move player ones units back to the prison when the battle is done, and give JUST player ones units at the player one party unit location to player one from player 8...

But since I don't want this to mess up every player...

I have to repeat this trigger with players 2, 3, and 4, but applying to them, is there any shorter way???

I'm not sure if this would solve your problem, but if it's possible, why not just use different units for every player?

You can copy or save it. (For example put all the triggers in the force area then copy them and modify the location and player)

I know Rune Scape, but the trouble it there are many area in which to do this...It would take a lot of time none the less, but it's a sacrifice I must make I guess.

And Chu, all my players have one unit for battling and one exact same unit for moving but its invincible, player one has a hero zealot, player 2 has a hero ghost, player 3 has a dark archon, and player 4 has a normal zealot...I don't get what you mean, how does this change anything?

Well... uhh... maybe, I'll try to setup a trigger and crap, try to find the answer, and try to give it to you to understand it... none of those 3 things are things I'm good at...

As far as I can tell you're trying to make an already simple trigger process simpler. I would just make the triggers for every player and get it over with, because you're going to take more time looking for and testing other methods than you would making the actual triggers.

I really can't see much of a problem. Mapping is not really easy, it involves work and LOTS of patience...have fun making the map thoguh and good luck!

You'll have to make seperate follow locations for each player and repeat the triggers for each player, otherwise the game won't know where the battles are taking place, theres no way to have a single location follow all players.
