Ok Last week I found some great sites that let console gamers to play online for free called by "tunnling" (Tunnling- to play a game over the internet by spoofing the system link. My Opinon ENGENIOUS

).

Pros: Free, Play games online that are system link capable(i.e. Halo: Combat Evolved), Dont need a moded system, can use a moded system, TOTALY LEGAL, some services offer PS2/NGC/DS! Gets Bill Gates Mad Cause He Cant Do Nothing!

Cons:Can't Play some xbox live games that don't have system link features, cheaters (a few but not that much), lags if theres a person from a distant location(I.E.: You(USA) + Him(China) + 14 Other Guys = Massive Lag)

I personally like Xbox live better than those, the only time i use either of thse is when i play a non-Xbox live game. In my oppinion Xbconnect is unreliable. Whenever I played Halo combat Evolved on it it was always lagging and took way too long to get in a game. But they are pretty good if your looking at a non-pay gaming experience.

You don't, but:
- Its laggy
- Doesn't have content features of LIVE.
- Matchmaking sucks...
- Not many people play that as much as LIVE, so good luck finding games you actually want to play.
- No stats.
- No clans.

ya, its free unles you get the "Pro" versions of it; it was what I used before Live

Tunneling sux.

I used to use Gamespy tunneling before i got live (which, strangely, i never use almost anymore), and it sucked, really bad. Couple things

Couldn't use a voice chat
Had to connect to games using the computer
Had to chat using a computer
Really Laggy
SO many hackers, you'd join a game and hit someone with like 20 rocket launchers on Halo, and they wouldn't die. It was crazy.

Live doesn't allow modded systems (I don't believe :/) so no hackers, plus its run on dedicated servers = almost no lag. Other ones are run on the servers their sites our on, so that's like doubling the bandwidth output.

I think everyone here who doesn't use it (Use tunneling) is because they don't want to pay. It's like what, barely over 4 bucks a month? Whoopdie doo. Doesn't WoW cost like 13? Plus you get infinite games with it, not just one.

Oh and when you say matchmaking, do you mean on live (Halo 2) or with his kinda system? Because on Halo 2, their system owns! The only bad thing is that you can't really make friends since you only play one game and you don't talk with them that much. I only get friend request when I own a game and I got like 20 kills more that the 2nd ( I get alot of friend request for that reson

For $7 Canadian you can play online for a whole month... You can get content downloads... Thay have the best servers because its well... Microsoft... Did I mention Content downloads... Anyway

LIVE KICKS WHATEVER OTHER SYSTEMS A$$ BECAUSE IT JSUT DOES!!!
(Beats my comp cause Internet is messed)

I HATE LAG...Xbox Live is my style any way. So I choose Xbox Live because I seriously cant stand lag in an Actuall Console System.

When i played xbox connect there was TONS OF LAG!1!one. Xbox live gets ride of a good deal of this. Although these options might be free if your gonna play online you mine aswell play xbox live. It really isnt that much, and if u can afford the xbox you should be able to afford the service. plus all the xtra features x box live has makes it way worth it.
