I always see those 3 Opz bots at clan uUu and I believe SaLaCiouS is running them.
I also see Cheeze's bot all of the time.

Ask them they must know how to do it. I heard that there was somekind of program that ket you have the bot online 24/7 even though your PC was turned off.

I can run as many bots as you want, provided you give me the cd key for 24 hours a day.

But...if my power goes off or my parents get pissed at me... my internet = down. But that usually lasts about 6 hours at most, depends whether or not i'm home. tongue.gif

I can in theory, but I don't leave my computer on anywhere near 24/7. I do hope you aren't talking about staredit.net bot, though.

o, thatd be very easy and you could trust me not to screw around with anything. i restart my computer sometimes but id have the bot back up and running in like 5 minutes. sometimes i get disc from my bots but i could always use hashing.

Honestly, how useful can a 24/7 bot be? DK (knowing him) will just load his own bot if there are some censored.gif s screwing up the channel...

I can host bots 24/7! The only way I can't is maybe: internet goes down..., or the computer is off....

Is there a way to keep a bot up if you aren't online?

I can get a bot online 24/7

I got a server thats one 24/7 ventrilo and counter-strike so i guess that i can fit a bot in there to, altough i dont know how to handle one so you would have to help me, I got a cdkey also since i can use my normal key.

This is for me. As I said, this bots only purpose will be to sit in a channel. It will not talk, or do whatever. I'm not refering to the staredit.net bot (which personally, I'd like to get power back over it for saturdays).

It cannot even talk. I'm going to be using a muted cd key.

Why am I doing this? You'll see soon...

I've heard of stuff like LINUX shell bots that are uploaded to a proxie server, and can run for like months on end. Not being a PC user, the only bot I can use is KaneBot, which totally sucks.

Clan channel? That's the only reason I can think of to keep a bot online 24/7.

I don't think it'd have many interesting trivia questions considering the key is muted.

My guess is it's something that integrates with SEN like the Battle.net profile viewer?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by notnuclearrabbit on 2005-01-19 at 19:23:12
Lets all guess what it is!
Maybe its one of those bots that does a /who and lists people in the channel on SEN, or a profile viewer, or a /stats check for the profile page.
