The LotR Trivia Game! Step right up and try your brain!
First Question: Which of Feanor's sons had to cut off his right hand to free himself from the unbrakable bonds Melkor put him in on a mountainside?
Note: this isnt spam. I honestly want to know how much people know.
Gah i knew that one once..
Here is an easier one for all you who didnt read The Silmarillion: What are huorns?
Hint for question #1: He was one of the last 3 surviving sons of Feanor.
This post is at least 3 hours from the other one.
Anybody? Anyone at all? Someone had to have made the LotR maps, and they are very accurate so they must know this.
Even easier question: Who was Haldir?
I'll get back to you if I ever finish the Fellowship. I just found them a little boring, but I really liked the Hobbit.
I only know the actual LOTR stories, not all this expanded junk.
The Greatest of all his Sons.
Mealfor or something...
gah i used to be great at this kind of stuff

Answer to #1: Maedhros, also called something like Mealfor meaning "the one handed"
Answer to #2: Huorns are ents that have "slowed down" or become more like trees and trees that became more like ents.
Answer to #3: Haldir was the guide who found The Fellowship and brought them into Lothlorien.
Question: The longest song ever made is unfinished and told of the story of Beren and Luthien. This song was the ___ __ ________
Dude... I knew who Hailder was... Hes the dude who int he movie came witht he elves to Helms Deep...
Anyway Not a clue what the song is called..
Back from computer problems vacation
The Lay Of Leithian was the longest song in the history of Middle Earth. It was about the adventures of Beren and Luthien, which were also what Tolkien called him and his wife. The song was so long that it spans half of an entire volume of The Histories Of Middle Earth (The Lays Of Middle Earth) which were about 400 pages each. It rhymes very well, and is referenced in The Silmarillion because it told the most history of the times before Melkor was banished from Middle Earth.
Actually Haldir brought the fellowship to Caras Galadhon, the city in Lorien. They were already in Lorien, Lothlorien, Laurelindoran (I believe that's one of the versions), etc.
haldir nvr actually went to helms Deep, that part in the movie is a lie.
I have a Question for you...: What is the name of Himring after Beleriand sank below the sea.
Hirming Sank? in What Page in the Sillmarioon did it sink?
Was Himring the ship at Fornost or the flying one?
Himring is maedhros' fortress on the right side of beleriand. When WoW happened, all of beleirand sank beneath the waves. and the tip of Himring sticks above the sea and is now called Himling.
(ive read the books so many times that each number of times ive read each book is double digits.)
