Can anyone explain why with SCMDraft and X-tra Editor keep removing Map Revealers at the top of the map when I enter a game with my map...... They're there on the map itself... They just don't reveal anything in-game...

I've never seen anything like this. Check to make sure the revealers are owned by the right player.

are the map revealers slightly off the edge of the map?

I've encountered something like this couple years ago where random number of units near the top portion of the map disappeared whenever the game started. I never did solve that problem except remaking the entire map.

I looked at his map yesterday and all of the map revelers are owned by white (player 8 I think...) and he is using the trigger in this post. If you read this before you get onto MSN, disturbed, try removing and then re adding the map revelers.

Try Using Starforge Or ScmDraft2 They can Set Revealers.

Why? The editors he is using can place them also.

Most of the time when this happens to me, it's because I had the unit 1 pixel above the max top limit on the map. Try moving them down, and if that doesn't work... Don't ask me for any more help, because that's my only solution.

If you're using an extended player, remove it.

he is using player 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 for the men that the humans can buy. They are invincable, so they won't attack each other. The map reveals belong to player 7 (white)

Because of player 13, all vision of map revealers are removed. If you stacked more map revealers, for the other players, then they were removed when you opened the map in Staredit.

Well, this post might have been solved already but.

Another problem that could occur when placing map revealers via. Starforge/Scmdraft is that the program incorrectly calculates placement of map revealers of the whole map's vision. Meaning, the map revealers may be placed offset. I have encountered this many times and had to manually place them. Try placing new map revealers on the top of the map.
