Is it just me or does creep seem to disperse faster when your screen is on it. I placed a zerg building and removed it with trigs and locked a players view off of it for about two minutes. The creep that goes away seems to be minimal but it seems to go away faster when the player is able to view the creep. Also I heard somewhere that if you place hatcheries offscreen that creep will disperse faster. Probably not true.

Maybe its because you are looking at a screen of creep, then if you move away, the fog of war will still be there and show creep, but once you go back, it will all disappear at once, its like when theres a building in fog of war, but it dies, you will still see it in ur fog of war until you go revisit the place.

No I have it so the player has a building where the creep is. A terran building.

It's kinda like the phrase "a watched pot of water never boils". But in this case when you are not watching the creep, you are most likely doing something else that makes the relative time to you move slower.

Therefore, PearS thought watching the creep was fun. w00t.gif

It probably just looks faster. Bits will retreat all the time, but very small bits around the creep, so it appears to be disappearing well, but in small quick sections on the outside moving in.

Time it then you will know for sure. Time how long it takes for it to go away when you're watching it then do it again don't watch it, but when it comes to the time it took for it to go away when you watched it, look at it and see if it's gone.
