Two of the best games of the year...which do you think is better? RE4 or Halo 2? If your wondering who i went for i couldn't...there both...so awsome..well cast your vote..Something is wrong with my SEN so i can't add a Vote registration so here are your 4 options:

1 = Halo 2
2 = Resident evil 4
3 = THERE BOTH JUST 2 AWSOME 2 DECIDE
4 = There not as good as _____. There for i think ____ is the best game of the year.

Number 1 because I have never player Resident Evil 4 and I like halo better than any other game. Even the ones I have not played yet . I am ignorant of other games!

HALO2!! HALO 2!! HALO 2!! HALO 2!! Halo 2 just owns all! I never played resident evil 4, but I jsut know, whatever game it is, HALO 2 just owns all!! HALO 2!! HALO 2!! Yay!! I laught at you if you don't have Xbox Live since campaings arn't the best, but Xbox Live with Halo2 Just owns to much!!! ( Maybe a little too promotional )

To answer you #4 correcly.

Halo and Resident Evil are very diferent games. You cannot accurately compare them.

just what i was thinking chill. how can you compare a third person horror survival game, to a first person shooter that sucks.

re4 is better just cuz its not halo.

Ahem. But these games can't be compared at all, it's like comparing Sonic Heros and Madden. But, although I don't like Halo's FANS (Normally they're blabbering idiots who say Halo is the best without any proof at all except: "BEUZ UR GHEY!!11") I have to say that Halo 2 is better. I played RE4 for about 30 minutes, and I couldn't pass this one part, took me like 12 tries I still couldn't do it, I hate it's impossiblty.

Which part... there's always gamefaqs you know. I think 10 minutes of RE4 absorbed me more than 1 hour of Halo 2. Halo just gets repetitive, while RE4 is constantly bringing in new surprises. Some puzzles are pretty ingenious as well. RE4 has a thicker single player substance than Halo 2 will ever have and at least it doesn't end with a huge THUD. RE4 has a deeper combat system than Halo2. You can choose where to hit, and you can choose to karate them if you want as well. Not only that, but you can also upgrade weapons, combine items, and sell them as well. However, I will give Halo 2 the nod in the multiplayer category because RE4... well has none. Ironically, the maps are huge and most of the time feel like hide and go seek when you want some 4 player multiplayer. Of course there's Live, but that comes with a price and only 10% or the entire Xbox owners have Live... So it really comes down to whether you want a immersive single player experience, or have Xbox live... To me RE4 is better, because a lot more development went into that game as opposed to Halo 2. The A.I. is more complex, the graphics on the bodies AND the backgrounds on RE4 look terrific and the storyline leaves me amazed. I have to admit sounds for both games are superb. Halo 2 was destined to be a Live oriented game, which means the developers had an easier time since all they need to do is give players control of the tools, not telling the A.I. to do things. RE4 however, has the A.I. do many things, so I believe I'll give the nod to it, since the developers put a lot more work into it.

Metroid is not a FPS its a FPA(First Person Adventure) which is the only one of its kind. Go to GameRankings.com or something like that it uses all the most credible sites and magazines ratings and rates games and for you that care they also have the non credible ratings too. OoT is #1 and RE4 is in the top 5 and Halo 2 is 14th if you wanna go by offical rankings and such. Game of the Year hmm RE4 will not be in with Halo 2 b.c Halo 2 is 2004 and RE4 is 2005 so Halo 2 can only get 2004 game of the year. As for 2004 game of the year Halo 2 will not get it b.c of its single player lacking, AI does not get harder in harder difficultys all that happens is you take less hits to die and enemys take more hits to die. For game of the year for 2004 the top candidites are Metroid Prime 2, Halo 2, Rome: Total War, Half-Life 2, and GTA:San Andreas. It will probly end up going to Half-Life 2 or GTA just based on there Single Player depth. In my Eyes I think it shoudl go to Rome but I agree that its AI still needs a good patch to fix it and that bribing is too cheap but its Single Player still packs a good experience.

RE 4 woot Woot!, I love playing Resident Evil, I been playing Resident Evil games ever since I was 6 years old. The first Resident Evil game I played was "Resident Evil 2" I still keep playing that little bastard, I still love playing part 2, I might of beaten it more then 100th times. When i saw the graphics of RE4 I said this out loud "Kick ass"

halo 2's story line owns but there are some missing things in it...


like when we see the remainz of the halo ring, we see the covenants homewolrd next to it, wich wasnt mentioned in the halo 1... there r many othwers like lthat like how the heck and by wixch right could the master chief go to earth? cole's protocol prohibed it... and how did the covenants find Eafrth?

i wish for the halo 2 campaign, that you could pick an entire master chief campaign, and then an entire arbitar campaign, that would have been so Uber!!

Maybe they followed the Master Chief when he was going to Earth.

It's never explained how they found it, it should just be assumed that someone ended up leading them there, since they knew at the start of the game.


As for RE4 and Halo 2... Although the game really aren't that compareable, and Halo 2 didn't even come out this year... RE4 is still better. Halo 2 is almost exactly like the first with the only major change in gameplay being dual wielding. The 1st person mode was obscenely short, something like a 4 hour rip off where nothing happens and it leaves you hanging right in the middle of the action. RE4 on the other hand is a complete reinvention of the Resident Evil series. It's something like five or six times as long as Halo 2; with a story that isn't a complete rip. Plus, Resident Evil 4 is the only game that let's you shoot a Troll in the face with a rocket launcher. Good stuff.

i like them both, resedient evil has it's pros and cons so does Halo 2
i love the resident eveil games for the awesome headshots

RE also has it's creppy pop out and scart the crap out of you moments, i like thoses 2

I'd have to say Resident Evil 4 is better.

There are books on halo that explain how the covies found earth. i like halo more than re4, although it is still a cool game.

well i think RE4 is better then halo in some ways, but i hate the no zombies in Re4

Im not sure which is better they both got me playing games again i beat halo2 twice and resident evil4 once but they are both so damn awsome i cant decide but im waiting for the x box 2 to come out its launch came is oblivian and i played a little demo and seen some screen shots and it looks awsome and they are coming out with a halo2.5 wich will be cool so between the halo games and resident evil games gaming cant get much better

oh yea i forgot! a new halo is coming out with xbox2! and it will be halo 3 i believe?

Halo II owns resident evil without a doubt. That is why I capitalized Halo II and left resident evil with lowercase

Halo 2 I would say is better all around but I think I could go for Re for a while so my choice is RE (only if its online)
