Unknown_being, bmp files aren't the smartest things to use when making a sig.
They are larger than jpg and gif files and take longer to display (not load). So you can see why you're not allowed to use them as sigs. Just change it to a jpg and re-upload.

Heh. Yoshi just told me that a few minutes before this post.
I changed to .png, since .jpgs are crappy as hell. Once I saved some Kirby-based sprites I made, saved as JPG, and they turned out crappy as f*ck. Good thing I saved as instead of overwrite...

Unfortunately, *.png don't work. So, I suggest you try using a *.gif file. You might have to edit some optimization settings to get the right look though.

It doesn't work in what way, 'cause I'm using it right now and I can see the pic perfectly.
As for Gif, no matter how hard I try, can't find any sound file/image file converters. I have to just use Pixia. A freeware, cool art program.

PNG's do work, and hes using it right now.
Before he was using BMP, which really sucks and consumes space.
PNG's are great for internet in my opinion.
JPG's used to be good because they take up less space, but now that we're entering the more high speed range of the internet, PNG's are becoming more popular.
The new site layout will be using a lot more PNG's than it does now.
