It's not good for their business to release two major products like these at the same time. People can't play both at the same time, so they might choose to buy one one product, finish the campaigns, and then go do the same for the other product. Besides, if they push it back, there is the potential they won't have to release a emergency patch to fix a major bug or 3.

Yeah but You could do a few months differance (coughcough Dynasty Warriors 4 expansion packs in 04 coughcough)

No they will not. If they even end up making them they will probably make sc ghost. Let the craze commence and when it dies down (1-2 years) they will release sc 2 and bring back the craze for blizzard games.

That is exactly my point. In doing their business this way, they maximize their profits.

Not neccesarily. If one of their games are not a hit, they will release their other game to increase their reputation. If to say starcraft ghost sucked, they might release starcraft 2. If starcraft 2 is a hit some people might go
"Hmm, people say starcraft ghost sucks but starcraft 2 is very good. They are made from the same company. I think I might buy ghost as well seeing as Blizzard makes good games"
So there MIGHT be a possiblity that both will come out in a very small span. But I don't really care because i won't be gettin either of those games.

I'm starting to think they wont even release the In the SC Ghost trailer, they say Comming 2003!!! And we are now 2005!!! LOL

ya... I think they did that with warcraft 2 and starcraft:brood war. But then, I think they haven't released SC: ghost yet becasue they are waiting until the hype from warcraft 3: world of warcraft has dispursed. In doing so, they maximize their profits. Think about it. Think about how much money they would get if they released all of the versions of warcraft, SC 1 (regular and broodwar), SC 1:ghost, SC 2, and diablo at the same time.

They said ghost would come out summer of 2005. I doubt it so yes i voted for the last option on ur poll. 2008, i'll be a sophomore in Harvard

Halo 2 was pushed back. But only for a bit. I think it was because there was some leak in halo and some people got it before release date or something like that,

Sc ghost is alrdy out? Well most likely SC2 will never come out. If it does, it will happen like 10 yrs later
