This isn't thatt important, so I'll post it here.
Anyways, my step-dad constantly makes me clean out the StarCraft folder because it uses up about 200MB of or 120 gig hard-drive =\ so I usually import everything into my laptop. I recently copied the 1.11b patch and put it into my laptop, replacing the .5 one (I kept it safe in it's own folder). Well, when I played SC, certain stuff was really screwed up, such as the menu screens. They didn't fit right, and a lot of the boxes were warped and reversed, so it looked a bit messed up. When I moved the 1.11b patch out and put the .5 patch back in, it worked normally again. =\ I didn't know if there was a way to fix this. I hope I don;t have to delete the .5 patch entirely and have just the 1.11b patch, because then I can't play some mods.
Also, I can't watch relpays on the laptop. There is no option for it, even though I imported some replays. Do I need to be on B.net to watch replays?, because watching replays through BWchart 1.02 isn't as fun and as easy to learn strategies from.
Anyways, I hope someone can help. if I can't do anything, I'll just try to hog my Mom's desktop and try to run maps from ym memory card instead of the 'Maps' folder and stuff.
Sorry this is so long, but I want to make sure I don;t have to re-explain stuff.

Wow a whole .0016% damn that sucks. Good thing you don't have starcraft installed 600 times.
Then change the install path and hide it from your dad

Save it to C:\Windows\Registry or something, and he wont touch it.
You can do that? I'll try it. Thanks.
Yeah, my step-dad uses a crapload of space on the computer, I am not kidding, there's about 500 MB of space left -.- and he refuses to delete any of his stuff.
Well I say reinstall StarCraft. Then if you want to change to play mods I suggest you go here:
Mods & TCs. Yeah I know its in a different language. Some are in English. Attachment for file is too big. Alright the SCTCStart is going to install and when you use it. It will show a lot of blank spaces. You have to download TCs for it to fill up with mods, but you just want to change StarCraft versions right? If you want mods just go to that site and it will have a section called "TCs & Addons". That will add it in when you turn on the SCTC thingy. There will be a picture of the mod and you can click on it. Thats about all I know about changing versions and mods.

DAMN HYPOCRITE! I hate it when people tell you do/not do stuff they're doing as they tell you to. Anyway, I'd reinstall SC, then update it through Battle.net, so you get all updates.
Or better yet, heres some super securty if you don't want it showing up ANYWHERE.
Install SC and BW to its normal path. Yep. After that, move it to C:\windows and rename it to something technical. Reinstall SC again in the normal directory, and then uninstall it through add remove programs. Remove all start menu entries, then make a new start menu entry pointing to the C:\windows one, move it into accessories>communications and name it something like "dialer", change the icon of it, then you're done.
It will not appear in start menu or add/remove programs. If he catches you playing it, tell him you're running it off a CD.
The only way you can really find out, is if you stumble across it when looking through the windows directories (and people who are afraid of their computers breaking don't tend to go through there, which is an overreaction), by going through the registry editor (which, yet again, chances are he isn't too technical) or lastly, by clicking the shortcut you made (but he has no use for a dialer right?).
The Windows directory will increase by 200 mb or something, but do you honestly think your dad will go through it? After all, it is the thing that keeps your computer running.

how much porn can one man have, well never enough i guess
LMAO, no, if my step-dad had that, I would know because of the list if recently visited websites, and if it was something like... well, I won't make a fake lnik incase it happened to be real.
He does movies and a lot of editing. And he stores everything on my Mom's computer even though he has two comps, one with 3 hard-drives.
