Hello, here is my problem :
I have made a map where u can make eggs to make a maze for ennemies to be lost and kill them easily than there were nothing, but the problem is, if the player make A WALL ?? they will not be able to pass, and they will lag, i had an idea :
- make a terrain at left and at right that the player couldn't make eggs on, but it's still laggy when the player make a wall excepts at the terrain, so i wonder if an AI could help me, i want the AI to :
the ennemis are ordered to MOVE, and if they are blocked, i want them to ATTACK, is there any AI for that ?? thanks

There is no "Be blocked an attack AI script" If the computers are enemies to you and you completly block them, they will attack. Only if they are comletly blocked off.

You cannot create eggs with triggers is what RexyRex is saying.

use Move to location on a computer set enemy to you. If you block, the move order will be cancelled because it is impossible and they will attack you. However, they will go crazy and attack everything, not just the one egg they need to get through.

With the eggs, it sound like a good idea. Not sure but if you set a lurker build time to 1 will the egg get stuck in suspended anim like a hatchery?

I don't know, but either way, it could be cancelled, like the crystallic cannons thing. It wouldn't really matter if he put the highest build time, or a suspended time (if it works for that), unless the game is long.

Can't eggs be disabled? I don't exactly remember if they can or not... but anyway, if they cancel them, they lose out. tongue.gif

Ya there is no current method to script the Ai to attack the wall.

Here's a crazy idea tho. If the "wall" were to have a small "attack" say damage 1 then the Ai would attack.

Well, Robi, you can solve it this way.
Apply to MOVE trigger to the entire arena, then command them to move to the designated area every 3 seconds. That way, if they are stuck, they will attack the needed eggs for 1-2 seconds, then the MOVE trigger will re-activate causing them to finish their path.

Yes, Eggs can be disabled...
