The Pistol is bu far the fav weapon. By the way have you seen the E3 Halo 2 preview, if you havent ill link you to it. It previews a few more absolutely sweet weapons (rapid fire zooming rifle) and mounted guns and ai driving warthogs.

I especially like the part where he takes the Ghost.
BTW it's called a BAttle Rifle(I think), and it's more like a beefed up M6D than a rapid-sniper.
What my brother and I like is they made the plasma shots more laser-like. Look at the Halo E3, and you'll see that they look similar.

I was battling my brother once, Blood Gulch. He was on the Ghost, going up the ramp to Red BAse, where I was, so he could kill me. Before he did... I hit his Ghost with 2 Flares, the second one hardly effecting him(first one threw him off). I also hit him with a Sniper round and his Ghost with 3 of them(while he was still on it). I ALSO hit him with a Plasma Pistol Overcharge bolt. He killed me, and picked up a Med Pack to heal his 1-health-block to full... this kinda crap happened to me 2 or 3 times.
I hate when I fall through a floor in campaign mode.
I get some awesomely lucky shots sometimes... I gotta normal TV, and I hit him dead-on with a tank while he was on Blue Base, and I was as far as possible from him... heh.(Blood Gulch)
I also get that kinda stuff with SRifle and Grenades sometimes.
What's the most fun unit to kill? Anything but Flood and JAckals. Grunts are fun to just torture. Elites can do funny things, and it just feels GREAT to stick a Plasma Grenade between his legs, watch him look down, roar, and die...
Hunters are fun. HAs anyone noticed that if you jump when a Hunter Melee Attacks you you fly into the air? Has anyone got any cool glitches that way? I.E. skip a small part of a level by launching to a later area. Okay, that one's unrealistic.

Actuallt 1 and a 1/2 hours but neways, yeah i did notice the new plasma shots, and with the part where he takes the ghost off the elite thats going to be an in-game-action which i cant wait to try! I mostly cant wait for the new vehichles, did you know theres gonna be 4 different types of Warthogs?

Dude, they're movies, not outtakes.EDIT again again: But they're funny as fricking hell. Also see : Warthog: Revisited, and various other movies. Some can be great.

In fact, when I get a game or something, I'm usually a trivia expert. I.E. Flood can't 1-hit-kill-from-behind or be one-hit-killed-from-behind. Sniper Rifle doesn't work on them, and Shotgun/Spanker are most effective. Then come the M6D(2 shots kill), and Plasma Rifle, then MA5B and Plasma Pistol. Ack, I'm sure I forgot some of the weapons there...

On one of the levels you can jump onto a sheet of glass and walk up it jump over and skip like 1/2 a level!

I know its good because it tracks down enemies and blows em' up but the shots go through the air so slow, i much prefer the "snipers fav" Pistol!

I don't care much for the Needler. Although each shot is powerful 'n' all, it's a rapid-rire weapon... with only 20 rounds, and 100 max ammo.
Plus, ammo for the needler is more rare than anything but the S2AM and SSM. And, it has a delayed effect. Delayed way too much, about a second. That can mean the different between life and death. Its tracking is horrible, the shots are slow. It can be good, I guess, as a corridor weapon, though.

That's why it's a god corridor weapon. That, and the needles travel just oh so faster than the Chief. That, and they're rapid fire. That, and it's hard to dodge them.

Its not exactly hard to dodge needler bullets because they move so slowly and they cant perform sharp turns. Theyre anoying when those little ####ing grunts are using them tho and especially the elites

In corridors, Needler is good, 'cause it's just ever so faster than the MC. That's what it's good for, that and it puts the smackdown on them 1337s.
I don't find Needler enemies annoying at all.
I mean, 1337s are just easy to kill. Leave it at that. As for grunts, Needler grunts aere EASIER than Fuel Rod Cannon Grunts! The fact that they only fire when near an Elite or if you're just standing there doing nothing makes them pitifully easy to kill!
BTW watch the "Making YHalo2 Movies" movie, or whatever it's called. I think that the best guns are different in single and multiplayer.
In Multiplayer the pistol is the best. It kills in like three hits, and has a decent zoom. For me the basic assault rifle or, the rocket launcher is the next best.
In single player, i hardly use the pistol if i can get ahold of the shotgun. That takes out most units in one hit if you do a quick shoot/melee combo. I always carry an assault rifle by my side as well, in case i need to reload, i switch to that and finish the baddie off first.
