2004 game of the year has not even been choose yet but 2005 has already had one of the best games ever seen released and do you think it will be 2005's game of the year or do you think Phariah with its map editor where you can make your own maps for multiplayer on Xbox live with get it or The Legend of Zelda which no one really knows anything about accept that it looks really really nice and has a grown up Link. If you voted Other please tell what you think. I voted for No, The Legend of Zelda will put it to shame.

The easiest thing for me to say is "just wait and see". But really, I don't see an area where RE4 lacks. The visuals, sound effects, music, control, gameplay, combat system are superb. It mixes action with puzzles so it's not just a mindless shooter. If there was a weakness it would be the storyline, but the villagers keep me interested. The game is intense and requires the player to make the right decisions. The difficulty is neither easy nor too hard, perfect for a player like me, who likes a challenge. The length is decent, clocking at 20+ hours, depending on your skills. Of course you get bonus features once you beat the game as well. This year has started off great, and hopefully, other titles can match or beat the standards that RE4 has made.

Yea you forget game of 2004 don't get picked by the SIAI or something like that untill March or April sometimes May around E3. I am talking about 2005 this year that has just started. WoW and Halo 2 are 2004 and won't get 2004 game of the year anyway, WoW isn't even one of the top 5 candidates for 2004 game of the year. Anyway lets stay on 2005, only games I have heard about that have a chance of being good are Phariah,The Legend of Zelda, and maybe Project: Snowblind.

Blizzard keeps disappointing me.They make new games for the gay craft franchise but not for diablo or starcraft.

well my game of the year wiuld have to be battlefeild
the place were i work is called Game-On Extream internet gaming
and for $5 you can put an hour on your account,
well on saturdays there something we call "Special Forces"
were people ages 13-30 can come in and we play a BattleFeild 1942 MOD called "Desert Combat" and thats is like America VS. Iraq it's really fun so my game of the year would have to be Battle Feild 1942
but the game of the year, it will be a suprise for me i'm not sure what the 2005 game of the year will bebut i really doubt it will be RE 4 becasue 2005 isn't over yet and there are wonderful games still to come this year

Guild Wars could be a canidate. Graphics are alright, gameplay is unique and it's a FREE MMORPG.

i think halo2 is gunna be the best 2005 game even though i dont like that much. halo2 is not my kind of game.

I think I checked on the interenet. Not sure if it is the official one though. It said that Half-Life got first place and WoW got second and Halo got fith. I am not sure if it is official though.
