Staredit Network

I was wondering if you could build heroes with StarEdit or Arsenal III. Or make it so you can change from a basic unit to a hero.

use Stargraft (modding utility) to change the range of command buttons. It cannot be done through the use of map editors.

Building heroes from buildings will be possible with Mods. Otherwise you can just use a trigger and a 1x1 location and for every unit, move the 1x1 location on the unit and replace it with the hero form of that unit.
You can always change the stats of the normal unit though...

I wanted to make a bunch of different kinds of marines. This probably isn't the place to post this but I didn't want to start a new topic. How do I edit tbls i got TBL Pad but when i load the tbl it's all in spanish. I tried word pad but when i do arsenal 3 freezes up.

But I know the answer so wth... the reason your TBL is spanish is because SC have many versions for different languages, so you probably noticed that there are some TBLs, just check all of them and one of them is the english one.

Also, you can't load TBLs with Arensal3, you need TBLpad to load&edit them.
